Out of the photographers you listed I really liked Arno Minkkinen. His photos are very different from what you'd see today in my opinion. His portraiture all include nudity. And in today's photography I think that is one of the most left out things. However, Minkkinen seems to really emphasize this nudity in a creative and interesting way to help show the beauty of the human body.
I also enjoyed Francesca Woddman's portraiture. I noticed in a lot of her portraits there were interesting backgrounds that stood out to me. It wasn't just a plain white background. Some had texture and some had scenarios.
The other photographer I enjoyed was Cindy Sherman. I think her portraits are more modern but I noticed that in most of her photos the subjects have an interesting facial expression. Some photographers use different poses but Sherman seemed to have the subject do something unique with their face. I like that aspect and I think it can provide a different feel to the picture.
