This is my sink, something I use at night before I got to bed. I like this pic mainly because the water is frozen in motion. I also like the way the stainless steel really sticks out.

  1. similar to your image of the camera how could you have photographed the sink differently to make it more dynamic? Crop out the bottom? crop out the sides so all you see is the faucet and water? Photographed it from a different angle? looking down at the sink, looking up into the faucet? Maybe photographing the things around the sink, or the corrosion from the water on the metal fixtures... I'm not saying you have to do these things, but its just some things to think about when youre approaching your subject.

I think for the category of "last thing at night" you solved it well. Most people would have photographed their bed, night table, pillow, or something like that. I think photographing the sink as the last thing at night was unexpected and that shows you were thinking about how to illustrate that theme in a new way. Good job!

  2. I really like this photo, the way the water looks almost crystalized and the texture of it. The only thing that really bothers me is how the faucet and water stream seem to be tilted slightly. A small correction to the cropping could easily fix that and make the composition more sound. Great photo!
